Agapanthus Marcus

Agapanthus are a really popular group of plants, often growing wild in Cornwal and the Scilly Isles. It is an easy to grow plant with long, narrow, glossy green leaves and stout stems baring open clusters of pale blue flowers in summer. Grows well in protected sites in the garden. Excellent for containers although plant in big enough containers to allow the plant clump to establish. Mulch well over the winter periodand feed with bonemeal or similar during the growing season.

Aspect: Full sun to partial shade.

Soil type: Humus rich soils that are well drained.
