Cyclamen coum album

Cyclamen are excellent for naturalising and all ours are nursery grown tubers and are supplied in 9cm pots which establish much quicker than dry bulbs. Coum is classed as a Spring flowering crocus and this variety is the album form with petals of white with a deep violet nose and with gorgeous glossy foliage. Coum is different to hederifolium not only due to its flowering time but its leaves are rounded rather than more pointed. Cyclamen grow well under trees or out in the open.

Aspect: Shady areas under trees or similar.

Soil type: Humus rich soils that are free draining.

Flowering time: January-March
Height: 5-10cm
