Flore Pleno is a double flowered form of grandiflorum and is rarely available. The pure white double flowers are superbly formed. Trilliums or Wood lilies as they are commonly known are excellent for planting under deciduous trees or in other shady places. This variety is one of the most popular of the Trilliums. They will grow well in a peat bed. Once planted they are best left undisturbed and they will gradually build up into large clumps. They can be shy flowering in the first year so be patient and let them establish themselves.
Aspect: Ideal for shady areas in the garden, especially amongst deciduous trees.
Soil type: Grow well in a peat bed with plenty of drainage. Multi purpose compost is not a good medium to grow them in.
