Arisaema griffithii

This variety is one of the most unusual of the Arisaema's and needs to be seen to be believed. Easy to grow, Arisaemas's are unusual plants but once established in a shady spot with good drainage and plenty of leaf mould, will require little attention. They are quite spectacular plants for any garden. Needs protection from severe frosts. Supplies of Arisaema can be limited so order early.

Fully hardy in the UK although like all plants they will benefit from being mulched over the winter.

Aspect: A shady spot in the garden.

Soil type: Free draining humus rich soils that do not dry out.

Flowering time: June-July
Height: 30-40cm
