Finola is a lovely iris with white flowers with yellow falls at the top of leafy stems and flushed at the edges with blue. It is a mutated form of Sheila Ann Germaney so has the basis for being a good garden plant. Plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) apart and twice their height deep. After flowering, feed with a high potash fertiliser, such as tomato feed, to encourage large bulbs to form. Lift and separate bulbs in autumn.
