Picotee begonias produce superb flowers, this variety has flowers that are yellow with a red rim. Begonias brighten up the shady areas of any garden, but are also very suited for containers. They have a long flowering period which starts in July. Begonias are excellent for containers and will provide a mass of colour throughout the summer.
During the leaf and flower stage ensure that the compost is kept moist and not overwatered In containers they should be provided with food such as a tomato food to provide the energy for flowers all summer long.
