Tulip Double Late Dream Touch

A new variety of double late tulip that has reddish-purple double flowers that are often referred to as paeony flowered. Dream Touch will look great in any garden setting and is also good in containers. Flowering in May double late tulips bring an excellent array of colour to the garden. Tulips prefer to be planted in soils that are cooling down hence the reason most information will say October onwards. If this is a problem we would suggest the tulips are better in the ground than on a shelf. Cultivate soils to a depth of 20cms and plant tulips pointed side up 10-15cms deep and 10cms apart. In containers planting distance can be reduced to 5cms. Use Bulb starter with tulips if possible.

Aspect: Semi shade to full sun

Soil type: All soils that are free draining, in heavier soils add grit or well rotted humus to help with drainage.

Flowering time: May-June
Height: 35-45cm
