As with other kaufmanniana tulips Little Girl will provide early colour to the garden setting along with attractive mottled leaves. The flowers are a light yellowish orang flushed lilac rose. Growing only 20cms tall this dwarf tulip is ideal for rockeries, tubs and containers as well as being suited for formal bedding displays. Plant in fertile soils that are free draining, firstly cultivate to a depth of 20cms if possible and then plant tulips 10-15cms deep and 8cms apart. In containers planting distance can be reduced to 5cms. Grow with other short flowering varieties such as Muscari, anemones and other short tulips for great combinations.
Aspect: Semi shade to full sun
