Fritillaria pallidiflora AGM

Pallidiflora is also known as the Siberian fritillary which is a misdemeanour as it does not grow in Siberia! This variety originates from Kazakhstan and has lovely chartreuse yellow nodding flower heads. Fritillaria is a genus of Eurasian, North African, and North American plants in the lily family but has adapted to the UK very well. Fritillaries often have nodding, bell- or cup-shaped flowers, and the majority are spring-flowering.

Flowering time: April-May
