As the name suggests, this fantastic new persica has shiny purple-black flowers and is stunning. This is a form of fritillaria persica and as such will naturalise really well. They prefer the sunny areas of the garden that do not dry out in the growing season. Leave to naturalise for many years and will work really when planted with eremurus or even surrounded by tulips. An excellent choice for the garden as it is really outstanding. Fritillarias are quite an extensive group of varieties and are pretty easy to grow.
