This shallot is a very heavy cropper and will store for a number of months if kept in a cool airy place. The flavour of Golden Gourmet is very good and as such ideal for using in stews etc. Plant the bulbs from February to April. Before planting keep them in a cool airy place. Plant the tips of the bulbs above soil level and at 15cm intervals with rows about 30cms apart. The bulb size is 14/21cm and they have an award of garden merit for their easy to grow properties.
